Babywearing Wrapping Techniques

*Most of these resources were compiled from a private babywearing FB group and used with permission. Thanks ladies!*

Secure High Back Carry (SHBC)
This carry can be accomplished with a size 5 for some and a 6-7 for others. Great for beginners thanks to the half knot that is tied near the beginning helping to secure the baby/child while you complete the wraping.

Poppins Hip Carry
This is best done with a medium length wrap (ie 4) for most people

Half Front Wrap Cross Carry
This carry can be done with a 4 by most, possibly even a 3 (and of course may be attempted with a longer wrap too)

Of course there are many other ways to wrap and tie off the ends but these are some of the more popular ones in our area. Browsing online and on youtube for slight differences in these carries as well as other creative ways to wrap are widely available.
